SAINT GABRIEL’S GIRLS is a novella in three stories, revealing the four tormented lives of Girl-X, Holland, Concetta, and dead Aoife. They’d been friends since Saint Gabriel’s Girls Academy boarding school together in the 1970s, and it seems that each should have known all manner of things about the other. To the contrary, there are debilitating secrets among them. And they are nearly destroyed by their unraveling in their adult lives, saved only by the exchange of letters through which Aoife annuls their deepest pains and gives air to their otherwise suffocated voices.
