Beauty Out of Ashes

This is a story about my life as a Christian, and how for many years, I ran as far away from a relationship with Christ as I could after going through many life changing experiences. But, after exhausting my own efforts to steer my life, I rediscovered Him. There is forgiveness and a deep love of Christ that evolves after many encounters with God. The overall message of this story is one of spiritual healing and inspiration, along with the acceptance that our sinning, or being the recipient of someone else's sin, is not God's fault. Learning that God loves all of us, and will take us in any condition, and at any point in our lives. This is a personal memoir of the struggles that I allowed to plague my spiritual journey, because of shame and fear. But, I learned that God waited patiently for me to return to Him. It is a message of hope, forgiveness of our own poor choices, and realization that God doesn't expect perfection. He expects us to come to Him broken and empty, so that He can fill us up with His undying love. It is a story about putting Him first in all things, and knowing that He will always take us back when we need Him. There are so many distractions around us, and many times we lose sight of the purpose behind our lives. As young adults, it is easy to fall into the ways of this world, and become lost. This story is for those that feel they have made too many mistakes for God to love them. It gives hope to those who doubt His existence. It is a powerful story of denial, forgiveness, and the love of our Heavenly Father.
