The Smoke in Diamonds

A coming of age story, following young Ari as she grows into Arielle. Arielle grieves over the loss of her mother as she reads through her mother's old journals. She reminisces about her past life; recalling all of the horrible and unfortunate events that took place. This includes being raised in a bordello, enduring the tragedy of human trafficking and living in poverty for the first half of her life.
