How Domestic Animals Came to the United States

There were no domestic animals in the United States prior to the arrival of Europeans. This book describes their arrival, escapes and life in the wild over centuries. Surprisingly, the domestic animals easily became wild. They changed their appearance and behavior over a few generations. The author makes the case that domestic animals are much more wild than tame.
