Childhood disorders, which are also referred to as developmental or learning disorders, are certain types of mental illnesses that are diagnosed in children during their earliest years. Though, at times, certain adults may also exhibit signs of similar mental illnesses, the symptoms begin to be apparent during a child’s formative years and are hence, termed as childhood disorders.
