God Moment Miracles: Life with Muscular Dystrophy

In November, 1998, I learned that three of my four children, as well as my husband, were suffering with the fatal and debilitating disease of Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy. My oldest son had an automobile accident which left him ventilator dependent for nine years. He was on hospice care for over five years. His spirit and courage touched many lives, including mine.   Even though death and sickness became a part of our daily existence, the amazing God Moments and Miracles began to outshine the circumstances. The last thing I wanted to do was write a depressing book about disease and death, but as the tragic events unfolded, God proved his grace is sufficient to take us on any journey, no matter how difficult.
