In his first book, "On Culture: small minds, big business, & the psychedelic solution", Chris Rice manages to successfully weave together hallucinogens, meta-physics, psychology and government corruption into a coherent commentary that reads as though it were a "how to" for the cyberdelic revolution. The book advocates a refined conscious capitalism economy with a focus on community over profits, and the power of the consumer instead of power over the consumer. The author somehow believes that arrival at this conclusion is most easily achieved through mind expanding drugs by some segment of the population and a spreading of information through social media. It makes for a very interesting read.
