Homecoming

The last thing forty-three-year-old Susan Watson thought she'd be doing at her age is starting over. But after she's set up and fired from her job, she takes her savings and returns to her hometown to do just that. In the process of creating a new life for herself, she encounters harassment, battery, threats and sabotage. While she's just trying to survive, a crisis occurs at the hometown newspaper she loves and she sets aside her own goals to save the newspaper. And she rediscovers the love of her life. Or is he simply using her to get his story told? Homecoming is a complex, fast-moving story involving politics, a community separated by disparate needs, a struggling small-town newspaper and a woman who learns the hard way that she can go home again.
