Pre-marital Mentoring Program

The best form of pre-marital counseling is mentor-based. It provides an engaged couple with more than information. They connect to a mentoring couple that can be a resource long after the course is over. This faith-based course is six sessions long, with a post-wedding follow-up meeting. The topics are: expectations, relational history, defining marriage, understanding men and women, learning to give and receive, conflict resolution, money, time, and sex. In each session, the mentoring couple reads the short lesson and discussion questions, which lead the engaged couple to have a meaningful conversation about that week’s topic. Also included is an outline for how to use the material, and a wedding planner. This program is a powerful tool that prepares a couple for their marriage, not just their wedding.
