'The Poet-to-Poet Act' is a long commentary to Franco Fortini's theory of poetry translation, "Realtà e Paradosso della Traduzione Poetica". Both essays are included in the same volume. Fortini 1989 lectures on the poet to poet translation is a milestone in translation theory.
