This book goes far beyond the X's and O's. Coach Grant gives his insights from 28 years of coaching high school football. He coached at every level, (freshman through senior) and nearly every position on both sides of the ball, including his last nine years as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. He was also a head wrestling coach for fifteen years learning not only what to do but what not to do. This is not a book of 300+ pages but a concise, to the point book of building and maintaing a high school football program.
