Description

When Detective Tully Cunningham of the Savannah Police Department and his dog, The General, accept a ride on Casey Carson's boat he had no idea his life was about to change. Casey Carson is an artist and a part-time bartender at the Pier Bar on an island off the coast of Savannah, Georgia. She noticed Tully around the island. He was always alone. She decided the only way she was ever going to meet him was to take matters into her own hands. She invites him for a boat ride to the landing for a sandwich and a drink. Instead of taking him back to the dock she kidnaps him and takes him to her shell covered cottage on the island. Tully doesn't press charges. He's just come through a painful divorce and Casey is the first woman he's looked at in a long time. He and his partner, Bill Anson, find a body in a parking garage in Savannah. Receiving a tip from law enforcement officers from South Carolina, Tully and Anson follow the murder's trail to the island. When Casey finds evidence in her work shed that someone had spent the night there, Tully brings The General over to help track down the culprit. They track him to a boat dock and a chase begins on the waterway that ends badly for Tully. Casey and Anson arrange for her to pick him up from the hospital. Instead of taking him home, she kidnaps him again.
