When the boat docked at the natural heights of the New Highlands – Adwait was fast asleep , he was rudely awakened as his boat docked and also by lines of rays of sunlight falling on his face, he could not open his eyes to the brilliant glare, for the first time after long days rays of light peeped through their special boat and as he opened the boat’s window he saw the golden sun shining in all its glory. He was almost blinded by its brilliant light. As he opened the latches of the window on his boat he was relieved to see the other six ships had anchored. So miraculously they had survived the ordeal and now safe from the fury and turmoil that had raged for nearly forty days and they knew only some unseen power was saving them from time to time when they were caught in that heaven’s fury , it had seemed as if both the gods as well as the devils were out there determined to end the all life systems, on earth. Finally they thought their ordeal was over! They were relieved to see the Sun shining – it was as if an age had gone by, yes Kalki age or Yuga had gone but did they move into Kreta Yuga? Well no not yet? They were caught between two ages known as antara or the intermediate time between two ages. After each age passes out there is an elapsed time gap. If the Yuga cycle is 1000 years, there are intermediate periods of 2000 years. Therefore, after Kalki age has passed away, the intermediatery period between Kalki Yuga and Treta Yuga is 500 years. The Seven special ones – though possessing bhramanical powers - were still confused whether to celebrate their survival or mourn the millions who perished. They were confused whether they must feel elated or feel guilty of surviving. For once even the Special ones doubted the actions of God. Does God take revenge in such a furious way? Even God would regret such catastrophe . Through this action HE has cut off his relationship with the humans. The Parlaya or deluge is an extreme combination of God’s destructive forces. First he dries up the land and then water- and then fighting ensues between brothers – between nations. Then he floods the earth with water, and then comes the mighty waves sweeping everyone and everything away. And then he saves the few or else who will be left to appreciate his destruction- and the believers cry out – destruction is necessary for a new beginning. They wondered was there no other way- available to the Gods. The time of reckoning had come – to prove whether God had been right in choosing them out of the multitudes to save the world – rather restart the world that had been destroyed- and they must believe that destruction is a process necessary for re-building! They opened the hatch and jumped out into the swallow waters- and waded to the dry land the new Manus . The Seven Special Ones along with the Seers and Disciples started working on the immediate surroundings. The sages settled to the north side of the lake along with separate huts for the disciples. Each set of 50 disciples had huts surrounding a large hut in the centre that of the Sage guru – the sages were in charge of the Vedas, and the other holy texts. The Ashram was 10 stone’s throws from the special Ones residence. The Sage guru – the sages were in charge of the Vedas, and the other holy texts. The Ashram was 10 stone’s throws from the special Ones residence. (One stone’s throw was 1 km) At a distance of ten stone’s throws the seeds were sown for vegetation. Beyond that the animals were stationed. Within a few years the first stage of re population was carried out. AFTER about 700 years, as the families strength’s grew and population started increasing the seven Specials Ones decided to branch out in various directions – to occupy new lands and bring them into their care.
