This book is intended as both a revision guide and student notes for Edexcel A2 Economics Unit 4: The Global Economy. It builds on the material from Unit 2, and also includes sections on poverty and inequality, and development economics. 

Topics covered: globalisation, trade liberalisation, protectionism, trading blocs and the WTO, international competitiveness, balance of payments, exchange rates, EU, inward foreign investment and MNC's, public spending and taxation, poverty and inequality in developed and developing countries, limits to growth in developing countries, policies to promote growth and development in developing countries.

Although mainly aimed at the Edexcel A Level syllabus it may also have relevance for other students on other economics courses post-16 or degree level.
