The D.O.P.E or Director of Pharmacy Education book was written to help the new Hospital Director of Pharmacy succeed in their new leadership role. Topics such as finance, IT, operational management, human resource management, budgeting, purchasing and others are covered. These topics are not discussed in Pharmacy School in any detail. The author has attempted to present a working knowledge review of the topics to increase the understanding of a newly appointed or promoted Director of Pharmacy.
