Lucinda could not take her eyes off of it. At first it looked like a huge piece of cotton candy; but she soon realized that it was a cloud—a great white cloud! Then a glowing circle of golden light came towards her and hovered over the porch railing. ‘Good day, lovely child’ came an unexpected voice from the light. This must be a dream, Lucinda thought.
