Psychopaths and Bubblegum: The adventures of a 13 year old in a mental hospital.

In 1966, when I was thirteen years old, I was involuntarily confined in a mental institution for nine months. This is the true story of those nine months. All of the people and places that I describe are, or were, real. The events depicted are as they happened. The hospital is still there, almost fifty years later, and is still treating people who suffer from mental illness. I’m sure that they do a better job now than they did in 1966.
