Salt in the rainbow- tales from a young Malaysian sailor circumnavigating the world. Jonathan Muhiudeen who is one of the founders of the Raja Muda sailing Cup in Malaysia has written a book about his sailing adventure around the world. The book covers his adventures from storms to shipwreck to romance. He is one of the few Asian circumnavigators who have written a book about what it is like to come from a non western country as he sails into foreign ports. In today’s world of 24/7 communication, Jonathan's experiences of dealing with foreign ports, yachties from different cultures, engineering breakdowns not to mention a 'perfect storm' all via VHF radio and phone boxes seems like an historical adventure but it was only 25 years ago! His 'cup of tea' and ' no worries chicken curry' as he shifts from role of captain to counselor, tells a story of adventure as he sails west from Malaysia.
