Desires of Your Heart

“Desires of Your Heart” is a collection of inspirational stories about life and love written in a unique rhyme format. It covers the gamut of life experiences, written from both a female and male perspective depending on the story. The stories will take the reader through the many stages of life including love, desire, dreams, choices, adversity, trials, faith, fear, happiness, destiny, passion, purpose, trust and loss to name a few. Each reader comes away with a distinctive viewpoint as to what the story was about; depending on their unique life experiences. Various times the same reader will interpret the story differently upon reading it a second or third time depending on their stage in life or emotional bearing they are experienceing at that time. Two different readers have actually tried to tell the other that they must be reading a different story as their viewpoints and understanding of the story are so different. “Desires” is not a book of poetry per se but rather a way of storytelling in a rhythm format that is easy to read, comprehend and remember. Each story is accompanied with appropriate Bible verses that give even more strength and understanding to each story. The author’s background as a Cowboy Christian gentleman from Texas adds a distinctive western flavor to many of his stories. Many times the tales will transport the reader to another time and place all together. Michael has a following in all fifty states and over thirty countries worldwide.
