The CPIM module 1 exam covers only the basics. In module 2, 3 and 4 you will frequently see topics from module 1 (as these modules tend to overlap heavily). This ECO module emphasizes shop floor level operations. Controlling production activity on the shop floor is essential to a company's productivity. Better scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of work orders through the shop can improve that productivity dramatically.
