At an undisclosed location in Kiev, Ukraine in 1983 a brilliant chess champion-in-waiting meets his nemesis. The latter is a wildly eccentric retired champion who yearns to reclaim his relevance. In the midst of the Cold War, Garry Kasparov and Bobby Fisher sit across from each other in a room charged with emotion as they struggle to answer: Who is the greatest chess player of all time?
