The Diaries of James: Year unknown; Month unknown My eyes are those of another. I see a policeman and my heart pounds like a drum. I think that am being followed and my own shadow scares me. There’s a car sitting outside my apartment, or am I losing my mind? The voices in my head scream at me, and tell me to get off the road… to stay away from the road. The light has become my worst enemy, the darkness my place of refuge and comfort. The birds don’t sing no more. The world is a quiet place now.
