Side Effects

Max, Nick and Aurora are three teens, living separate lives, raised in the Neo-America Regiment. Their small town of Chadswick is overrun with Elementials, those who can control unstable elements, those who have suffered side effects from the disease plaguing the nation. One night, their town is attacked by their own government. They flee, and fate brings them together. Then, they are tasked with a seemingly impossible mission- cross the Great Desert, get to the fabled Paradise. But their freedom comes with a price. Is it worth it to kill the Hero, who brought them out of the anarchy they had been in years ago? Or will they fail when friends need them the most?
