USAID Health-Related Research and Development Progress Report

Many of the most significant achievements in human progress have come from harnessing the power of science, technology and innovation to accelerate economic development. At Various points in our nation's history, 85 percent of global gross domestic product growth could be attributed to improvements made through science and technology. In heath, new and better ways are being developed to deliver low-cost, high impact heath interventions capable of reaching more people, saving more lives and lowing cost. Through simple, innovation and cost effective solutions, the U.S. Agency of International Development is helping to promote heath in settings across the world.
