Draws with replacement include lotteries in which every number drawn is put back into the system before drawing the next number. Given the fact that this is not very pragmatic, the actual procedure consist of drawing one number from each of several ball-drawing machines, each containing the same numbers. This is exactly the same as drawing the numbers from one ball-drawing machine and replacing the number before drawing the next one. So they are actually draws with replacement, even if the replacement is not materially taking place. As it could be expected this procedure may produce repeated numbers. The lotteries described in this volume have basically two variants: Straight (exact order) and Box (any order). This will be more clearly understood through different examples, explained in detail throughout this book.
