Description

“Although, your health condition may impact your everyday life, do not let it define who you are.” BOTOX or BOTOX COSMETIC (OnabotulinumtoxinA) injection is used to treat a number of conditions. BOTOX (OnabotulinumtoxinA) injection is used to: (1) relieve the symptoms of cervical dystonia in people 16 years of age and older; (2) relieve the symptoms of strabismus and blepharospasm in people 12 years of age and older; (3) prevent headaches in people older than 18 years of age with chronic migraine who have 15 or more days each month with headaches lasting 4 hours or more; (4) treat overactive bladder in people 18 years of age and older when other medications do not work well enough or cannot be taken; (5) treat incontinence in people 18 years of age and older with overactive bladder caused by nerve problems such as spinal cord injury or multiple sclerosis, who cannot be treated with oral medication; (6) treat upper limb spasticity in the elbow, wrist, and fingers in people 18 years of age and older; (7) treat severe underarm sweating in people 18 years of age and older who cannot be treated with products applied on the skin. BOTOX COSMETIC (OnabotulinumtoxinA) injection is used to: (1) temporarily smooth frown lines in adults 18 years of age and older; (2) temporarily smooth crow's feet lines in adults 18 years of age and older. OnabotulinumtoxinA injection is in a class of medications called neurotoxins. When onabotulinumtoxinA is injected into a muscle, it blocks the nerve signals that cause uncontrollable tightening and movements of the muscle. When onabotulinumtoxinA is injected into a sweat gland, it decreases the activity of the gland to reduce sweating. When onabotulinumtoxinA is injected into the bladder, it decreases bladder contractions and blocks signals that tell the nervous system that the bladder is full. Thanks and may you have a good understanding about this drug—Tramadol. You may want to share this book with your family and friends who may be in need of help and would want to use this medicine. Take care, and as always, be well!
