William Lloyd Garrison, the Abolitionist

This is a biography of one of America's most influential abolitionists, and one of the 19th century's most important people. William Lloyd Garrison (1805-1879), born in Massachusetts, was founder of The Liberator in 1831, an abolitionist newspaper. He also co-founded the American Anti-Slavery Society.
