A Sky Full Of Stars

Karina has never been a normal middle school kid. At school, the girls make her feel worthless. They talk behind her back, call her names and trip her on her birthday. All she wants is love, for someone to care and someone to listen to her. It was always like this until her 13th birthday when she moves rooms at her orphanage. She lays awake in bed that night staring through the bare tree into the sky. Everywhere she looks a small bright light twinkles, some shooting through the sky. She begins to fall asleep as she counts the stars. She drifts to sleep with a dream that changes everything. Each night revealing a part of her past. Will Karina follow her dreams to find her parents or move away from the only place she can call home. Everything she knows is in her small hometown. Will she follow her dreams to find what she has always wanted or be separated from the closest thing she has to a family and the only hope of true love.
