The Bad Bat: a decodable phonics reader (Code Breakers) (Volume 4)

New Sound: D, Learned sounds: a, i, b, c, r, n, m, t, and s. The Code Breaker series is designed to complement explicit teaching of sounds/letter relationships through a multisensory approach, like in the Orton Gillingham program. Ms Mack, a Special Education teacher trained in Orton Gillingham, decided to create this series after struggling to find quality reading materials for older learners with learning differences, many of whom are English Language Learners. The Code Breaker series is designed to be graphically appealing to an older audience (3rd grade and up) while providing sequential phonics practice.
