The House of Philosophy

Philosophy is at bottom a criticism of life; and it is important to remember that the greatness of a philosopher lies in his powerful and beautiful application of ideas to life -- to the question of how best to live. So I think the great and inexhaustible word LIFE belongs to the philosopher more than anyone. Tolerance for the diverse strands of human behavior is a fundamental characteristic of New Age philosophy. It can deliver people from sectarian frenzies and from subjugation to stupidity.
