Behavioral Finance 201: Normative Finance Deprogramming

Finance as taught today is primarily normative in nature and not factually based. Without accurate facts logical thought is impossible. In fact, especially today, the normative theory that textbook finance revolves around is contradicted by the descriptive reality of the financial markets. This book highlights the difference between the more recent factual reality of the financial markets versus commonly accepted theory; and related to the gap between theory and financial market reality, it peels away the layers of disinformation and outright brainwashing that pervade the field of finance.
