For nearly eight years, Donnie Sumner and Ed Hill were constant companions to ELVIS PRESLY. As members of the legendary gospel group, J.D. SUMNER and THE STAMPS QUARTET, they enjoyed the privilege of witnessing AN ELVIS PERSONA that very few were fortunate enough to share. A host of books have been written about THE KING OF ROCK OF ROLL but seldom has Elvis been portrayed as the fun loving and loyal friend that he truly was and that is the purpose of this collection of stories.
