Description ▲
Tova Katzenell, an Israeli working as a Scene of Crime Officer with Police Scotland, is in a building as the last occupant is being persuaded, Glasgow-style, to leave. Tova, simply there in a family history quest, is anxious not to be seen.
Shortly after she has left the building, it goes on fire. Jonjo O Hagan, the sole occupant, receives a phone call and then jumps to his death and one of the two eviction men, Wullie Blackstone, is subsequently found at the foot of the stairs decapitated.
No obvious motive is discovered by DCI Neil Barron, who is in charge of the case, despite his constant forays into the less salubrious pubs and eateries of the East End.
The race is now on between Tova and Barron to find the killer before he finds Tova.
***Once Upon a Murder has black humour throughout and fans of Glasgow banter will love it.***
