For the past five years, Mila has spent her human life on the run from both Heaven and Hell. Finally settling down with a job as a bartender and a sometimes relationship with both her co-worker and boss, she’s mostly content with what she doesn’t have. Until she meets Damien. One night with him sets her on fire and the month she waits to see him again wear on her mind and body. When he finally reappears, he fills in the blanks as to what her life really used to be.
