Remembering Chinook Country

To celebrate one hundred years as a province, the Chinook Historical Society has received from historical authors a look at many of the historical aspects of this part of the country. These 35 authors write about a myriad of topics. Some of these are: The Nanton Lancaster Museum, Burns Food, History of Vietnamese in Calgary, Lady Lougheed, Metis in Calgary, Okotoks, Black Community, Oil Industry, Stanford Perrott, Irrigation, Philanthropy, Muslim History, Court Houses, Churches, Jewish History, and many, many more.
