Big Cats 2015

From majestic lions in Kenya to elusive snow leopards in the Himalaya, the big cats of the world need help. Lions, tigers, cheetahs, leopards, jaguars, and other top felines are quickly disappearing - all victims of habitat loss and degradation as well as conflicts with humans. To address this critical situation, the National Geographic Society has launched the Big Cats Initiative, a long-term commitment to stop poaching, save habitats, and sound the call for global action to save big cats in the wild. The Big Cat Initiative is a comprehensive program that supports on-the-ground conservation projects, education, and a global public-awareness campaign. Big Cats 2015 features stunning images of the world's big cats. Each outstanding image is accompanied by fascinating National Geographic information and a large grid with moon phases and international holidays. This 12-month calendar is earth friendly, printed with soya-based inks on FSC certified paper.
