The Little Maid of Newport is the story of two courageous and sensible young cousins, Faith Underwood and Ellen Morley. The story, part of the Little Maid Historical Books series, is set in 1777 in Newport Rhode Island, as the British fleet lay at anchor in the harbor and menaced the town.
