Description ▲
Designed to operate in a Windows Help format, the CD-ROM version of Combat Fleets 2002-2003 allows rapid access to specific information and fast navigation between countries, ship types, and classes. Information can be retrieved through three easy navigational tools. First, the table of contents lists information in a format much like that of Windows Explorer, with all the subjects in files under each folder (country). For the second navigational tool, data is located through an index function that contains key words for ships, aircraft, and systems listed alphabetically. The final tool is a search function that allows the user to enter a key word. It's that simple. Once a topic is selected it appears in a display window on the right of the screen so that the user can see the requested information while having access to other topics.
