God's Dog: Conversations With Coyote

In Native American traditions, Coyote is the Trickster--the one you want to avoid but love to hear stories about. In the Aztec tradition, Coyote is "God's Dog." As a minor deity, Coyote is at home in the world we know and in the world of magic and the gods. In this series of coyote adventures, he gets involved with a parish minister in Santa Fe, New Mexico. They meet for donuts and go on drives through the desert and mountains in an old VW Thing.
