Description

I want to make the reader aware that I have now published an e-book, "Introduction to The Mid-Week Rapture," that serves as a good introduction for this paperback book. The foundation for the e-book was the twenty-four articles behind my twenty-four radio broadcasts on this topic. Typically you would want to read the e-book first, but this paperback book contains a very large amount of information that is not included in the e-book, including verse-by-verse studies of Psalm 110; Daniel 2:31-45; Daniel chapters 7, 8, 9, 12; of Zechariah chapters 9-14; and an eight page discussion that goes with the fold-out Chronological Chart that is included in the back of the paperback book and (in a slightly modified version) at the end of the e-book. If you like one of these books, you will like the other one.

The viewpoint of this book is that the Lord Jesus Christ will return right in the middle of the seven-year period known as Daniels 70th week. At that time judgment day will begin, the devil will be cast down to the earth (having great wrath), the rapture of the Christian church (all true Christians) will take place, and Antichrist will begin his forty-two month reign. We will not be here when Antichrist (according to Dan. 7:21, 25 and Rev. 13:5, 7) overpowers the saints. There is no substantial reason why we should not be on the earth throughout the first half of Daniels 70th week, along with the two victorious prophets of Revelation chapter 11. The mid-week rapture represents a balance between the pre-week and the end-of-the-week rapture viewpoints.

This book was written for Christians dedicated to a serious study of the Scriptures. It uses the translation of the NASB. One primary goal for this book is to accurately present the Biblical basis for the mid-week rapture. A second goal, one that is more important than the first, is to accurately interpret the many key prophetic passages that are discussed in a verse-by verse manner in this book.
