Contact Has Begun

And so began the most astounding journey that former Los Angeles Times journalist Philip H. Krapf had ever embarked on in the 62 years of his life. In these early-morning hours, Krapf found himself whisked aboard an alien spaceship where he spent the next three days peacefully indoctrinated into a fascinating new world by extraterrestrials called "Verdants."

What he learned there was that these alien beings, who have been observing Earth for 1,000 years, have decided that the time has come for humankind to be invited into the Intergalactic Federation of Soverign Planets.
