It's interesting that even with all the emphasis on so-called "Visual" programming languages, most programming books ignore the fact that much of programming can be taught in visual terms, by analogy with how we work with physical objects. This is arguably the best illustrated book about computer programming, making great use of carefully selected graphics that depict the main aspects of programming.
