Before I Sleep

Jim Roberts, an environmental engineer, is arrested for murdering his beloved colleague, Sharon. But he didn't do it! After engineering his escape from prison to seek the real murderer, Jim flees cross-country, one step ahead of Sergeant Devlin, a relentless, psychotic detective who has repressed evidence of Jim's innocence. In a desperate attempt to shake Devlin, Jim takes on a new identity and resumes his search for the killer, but something has changed. Sharon's parents, once his worse nightmare, are now convinced that he isn't guilty. And Devlin is after him again, but how did he uncover Jim's ruse? Can Jim find Sharon's murderer before Devlin closes in again?
