Funtastic Frogs(tm) Addition & Subtraction

The activities in this book are designed to teach addition and subtraction concepts using concrete objects. Children use the frog counters to act out situations that require combining groups to add or taking away parts of a larger group to subtract. They begin to connect the action of addition or subtracting to the words and symbols used for the operations. They write simple addition and subtraction sentences. All the activities support current mathematics standards.
