In these days of Oprah's "Change Your Life TV," the world is definitely ready for Caroline Myss's brand of spirituality. She reads her book in front of a studio audience as if delivering a weekend lecture at a New Age conference, touching upon such subjects as channeling, mysticism, and stigmata. While often instructional in tone--Myss exhorts listeners to reconsider their relationship with God and chastises them for adopting attitudes of spiritual superiority--she manages to take on the posture of the sternly loving therapist, à la Judd Hirsch or Robin Williams.
