The Garden of the Good Shepherd: A Sticker Calendar to Count the Fifty Days of Easter

Easter isn't just one day. The Easter season is seven weeks--a week of weeks. Similar to an Advent calendar, this sticker calendar counts the 50 days from Easter Sunday to Pentecost. Each day there is a reusable sticker to add to 'The Garden of the Good Shepherd.' The images are drawn from scripture. First, you'll find the main sticker of Jesus the Good Shepherd. Then, you will add others to the scene, including stickers showing milk and honey, rain and lightning, a lion and a lamb. During the 50 days, the scenery changes, too, with the addition of other stickers. One week we are in a pasture, the next, around a table. One week the setting is a garden; the next, a boat on the sea.

Each calendar set includes an 11'' x 17'' laminated background board, a sheet containing 51 full-color, reusable stickers, and a 16-page booklet. The board can be hung easily in the home or the classroom, or even propped on a tabletop. The stickers are printed on durable soft vinyl and may be reused year after year. The booklet acts as a guide for placing the stickers and for prayer. It includes an explanation of Eastertime stories and images from the Bible for each of the 50 days.
