Aspects of Personal Faith

This text begins with an explication of some developmental theorists, moves on to compare and contrast Eastern and Western religious thought, then focuses on Fowler's stages of faith development, discussing two models of spiritual assessment, and concludes with considerations for psychotherapy in teenagers. Both secular theorists such as Jean Piaget, Erik Erikson and Carl Jung are discussed, along with some religious theorists. Aspects of Personal Faith has applications for psychotherapists and religious counselors alike.
