As usual, C.D.; his ally, Allie, and her cat, Orbit, lead students to fun discoveries and help them gather and process scientific information. Creative experiments help students discover how often their eyes blink, how their eyes respond to optical illusions, how their vocal cords work, how hard their hearts work, how their bodies work to digest food and much more.
Students will enjoy conducting the simple experiments as well as doing the creative writing activities and taking the quizzes to test what they have learned. They'll also learn about health heroes, people such as doctors and nurses who help us today, and some famous scientists whose discoveries many years ago make our lives today much healthier.
