Maritime History (Open Forum Ser)(2 Volume Set)

Maritime History is an introductory text for undergraduate courses in maritime history, the age of exploration, and the eighteenth century. This series of essays, developed from an NEH Summer Institute in Early Modern Maritime History at the John Carter Brown Library, is designed to summarize the latest interpretations in this field, introducing students to the wider literature. There are no other up-to-date, basic texts currently available in this field.
