Four learning centers, with six activity stations per center, focus on patterns, number, measurement, and the geometry concepts of shape and space.
The hands-on, student-centered activities let children work at their own individual level, with extension activities for more capable students. Students work together in small groups to create and communicate their way to a better understanding of the key concepts while teachers move about the room assessing learning.
Teaching notes, materials list, required vocabulary, and blackline masters to support each activity station are included.
